On this note -we are sorry to report that our friend Catsby in his 900hp Nissan GTR crashed hard today and his car is out. 3 others retired because of mechanical issues. Catsby is now looking to quickly buy a Tesla, M3 or rent a car to continue the event. That's the spirit !
It rained all morning so our early session was safe and slow. Of course we nearly ran out of gas and just made it to the station in e-mode. Thank God for batteries ...
Pittrace was quick and the back section (the old one ) was a mystery. I drove both session as Mike was a bit groggy from first days long drive and lack of sleep.
Our 918 Spyder is performing fantastic and it a pleasure to drive.
Cool factoid: Porsche claims a conservative 0-60 sec in 2.6 sec but Road and Track consistently tested 2.2! In fact it is so fast that on acceleration I almost blacked out twice today. Really.
